Julie Ferguson earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and a Bachelor’s degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Social Work.

 

She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker, Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland. Julie has been an LCSW-C Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland. She holds a National Board certification through the National Association of Social Workers as a Certified School Social Worker Specialist (CSSW-S). She has supervised social workers in private practice and school settings in preparation for licensure. Julie mentors college students who are considering the social work or counseling field.

Julie has worked in numerous therapeutic settings, including residential treatment, behavioral health in the emergency department, private practice, and the special education setting with students who have social and emotional needs.
