“You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

Each client holds an innate and unshakeable wisdom for the truth of their own life. Many simply need help in accessing this wellspring of inner guidance. You have what you need within, and you are already worthy. I look forward to holding space for you as you grow to discover your strengths.

Therapy, in its purest form, is grounded in the therapeutic relationship. Our work will center on teamwork, participation, and investment by both client and therapist. Together, we can plant the seed that will blossom into your thriving emotionally, socially, and mentally.

I am passionate about breaking the mental health stigma in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and LGBTQIA+ communities. When working with me, you can rest assured that every step of the process will be customized to you with both intention and purpose.

Safety is at the foundation of all successful therapy, but this is especially true when working with those who have never felt safe. As a queer-affirming therapist, my promise to you is that I will foster a safe space for you to evolve in a grounded way, and I will always be encouraging you to live out your most authentic life.

My therapeutic style draws on eclectic approaches that are aligned with your individual needs. A few frameworks you can expect while working with me include Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness frameworks. In addition to those frameworks, I am EMDR trained. Integrating EMDR with existing frameworks can enhance your ability to address various aspects of trauma processing and emotional regulation. These approaches lend themselves to you better trusting your own inner wisdom, developing and enhancing coping strategies, and building on skills you already possess.

Before becoming a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, I received my Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College.
